Description
A4 PCB Paper is a toner transfer paper sized to standard A4 (210mm x 297mm), used for the toner-transfer method of making DIY printed circuit boards. It’s designed to work exclusively with laser printers or photocopiers, since the process relies on melting toner rather than ink.
The paper carries a high-gloss, heat-resistant release layer on its surface. A circuit layout is printed onto this layer using a laser printer, then transferred to a copper-clad board by applying heat — typically via a clothes iron or laminator — which releases the toner from the paper and bonds it to the copper.
Once transferred, the toner acts as a resist during etching, protecting the underlying copper traces while the rest of the copper is dissolved away, leaving the finished circuit pattern.
Features:
- A4 sheet size (210mm x 297mm)
- Laser printer/photocopier compatible only
- Heat-activated toner transfer method
- High-gloss, heat-resistant release layer
- Low-cost method for DIY PCB prototyping
