Vibration and tilt sensors detect physical movement, shaking, or a change in orientation, offering a simple way to trigger an alarm on unexpected motion or detect when an object has tipped over. They're commonly used in basic security/tamper-alert projects and simple orientation-sensing builds where a full accelerometer/gyroscope module would be more capability than the project actually needs.
