The 3 Channel Path Tracing Module is a compact and efficient sensor unit designed for robotic line-following applications. It features three independent infrared (IR) sensors arranged side by side, allowing a robot to detect and follow a line or path with precision.

Each channel consists of an IR transmitter and receiver pair that senses the reflectivity of the surface beneath it. By interpreting the differences in reflectivity (i.e., black line vs. white background), the module outputs digital HIGH/LOW signals corresponding to the presence or absence of the line.
