Description
The MOC3022 is an industry-standard optically-isolated triac driver (optocoupler) designed to interface low-voltage logic circuits with high-voltage AC loads. It features a phototriac output without zero-crossing detection, making it suitable for applications requiring phase angle control, such as AC dimming, motor speed control, and light modulation.
Encased in a standard 6-pin DIP package, the MOC3022 provides high electrical isolation between its input (infrared LED) and output (triac driver), ensuring protection against voltage spikes and transients. It is ideal for microcontroller-driven projects and can be used with Arduino, STM32, ESP32, and more.
