It’s a low-cost, high-precision digital sensor that combines a capacitive humidity sensor and a thermistor. The DHT22 outputs a calibrated digital signal, eliminating the need for analog input pins or extra components.
Although it provides accurate results, the sensor can only output new data once every 2 seconds, so values may be slightly delayed. It’s easy to integrate with microcontrollers like Arduino, ESP32, or Raspberry Pi.
