The CD4053 is a CMOS triple 2-channel multiplexer/demultiplexer IC designed for both digital and analog signal switching. It features three independent single-pole double-throw (SPDT) switches controlled by a logic-level input, enabling the routing of signals from one common terminal to either of two selectable inputs/outputs. Each switch is bidirectional and can pass signals in either direction.
The CD4053 operates over a wide voltage range and is ideal for signal routing, analog multiplexing, audio switching, and low-voltage control systems.
