Description
CD4013 – Dual D-Type Flip-Flop with Set and Reset
The CD4013 is a dual D-type flip-flop IC, based on CMOS technology. Each flip-flop features independent Data (D), Clock (CLK), Set (S), and Reset (R) inputs, as well as complementary Q and Q̅ outputs. Data is transferred to the output on the rising edge of the clock signal. It’s widely used in digital systems for data storage, edge detection, frequency division, and toggle switch logic.
✅ Key Features:
-
2 independent D-type flip-flops in one package
-
Edge-triggered on the rising clock edge
-
Set and Reset asynchronous inputs
-
Complementary Q and Q̅ outputs
-
Wide supply voltage range (3V to 15V)
-
Low power consumption (CMOS technology)
-
High noise immunity
-
TTL and CMOS logic compatibility
