CD4026 – Decade Counter / Divider with 7-Segment Decoder

The CD4026 is a CMOS decade counter and display driver designed to drive 7-segment LED displays directly. It counts from 0 to 9 (BCD format) and automatically decodes the binary count into a 7-segment output to display numeric digits. With features such as ripple blanking, carry-out, and clock inhibit, it is ideal for digital counting applications where direct LED display control is needed.
